An update on my short-term mission impossible quest.
OK...I am now back in the world of blogging thanks to a bailey babe for encouraging me to let yall know how things are going and to tell about a lovely lady whom I have my eye recently (the future Mrs. hopefully, depending on how things go)....Here it goes...
Update on quest #1. About a month ago, I started a new job at UK...I am working for the department, College of Social Work/Training Resource Center. There main offices is located in the Patterson Office Tower on the 6th floor or the 16th floor (If memory serves me correct) They have other offices located at the KU building (Kentucky Utillities building, located off Limestone, 1 Quality Street, Suite 700, 7th floor. I am an Office Assistant doing office stuff, The job starts out part-time and it may become full-time (90 days). I work Monday, Tuesday, and sometimes half a day on Wednesday (8:00a.m. -4:30p.m.) ( 8:00a.m. - 12:00p.m.) I work my other Job at K-roger 4 hours on Tuesday night, 8hrs on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and 4 hrs on some Sundays (holidays comming up)....Other than that new job is going good, everyone is cool to work with. I go to the new employee orientation today at Scovel Hall at 2:30p.m. - 4:00p.m. I received my first paycheck 3 weeks ago ( I get paid every 2 weeks of each month, I start out at $10.69hr, thats more than what I am making at K-Roger). I am in the process of getting some stuff paid off and buying a new computer ( my emachines computer is in computer heaven...long story...I will have a lot off weight taken off my shoulders after getting all that taken care off....praise god!!!...The job is going good, I am getting used to the daily routine, I haven't had a case of the Monday's yet (ha, ha, ha, get it?, Nod, Nod, Nod) I have been meaning to watch the movie office space and the tv show The office to learn some of the ropes, (I haven't been able to keep up with watching the show lately). Once I get on full-time, I am exploring the opportunity of starting my own business ( I have been talking to Alex griffee about doing that, I am not going to rush in to it, I am just exploring the aspects of getting it started, and go from there). After looking back at how far I came since I started, things are starting to come together, it's a blessing.
Update on quest #2...While working at my new job I met a student who works there couple days a week...She is working her way through school. She is only working here for this semester, (her name is Lila, she is senior, double majoring in medicine and Theater...just recently today she had an interview to work at Connections (I am praying that she gets it...It is something that she wants to do...She is a pretty girl, cool to work with and solid, and I like her. I have gotten to know her over the past several weeks through the breaks and lunches we take together...On my first day, she thought my first name was Albert ( I looked like someone else who used to work there before me.) (funny first day moment)...I hope to get to know her more before she leaves after this semester is over...I told her I was on facebook and showed her my picture (Thanks to hagan tagging my picture for me)...She said I looked cute....All is good...Nod, Nod, Nod....I am stretching it out and I will keep yall posted.
Update on quest #3...Finding my own place is still up in the air.....Its a long process, hopefully after getting on full-time and with help of direct deposit into my savings account I should have enough for my own crib...I am still looking and getting ideas.
I am glad to be back into the world of blogging...I hope I didn't make my blog to long again....I just wanted to give yall an update on how things are going with me job wise, etc...Nod, Nod, Nod. If I don't see or hear from yall again before Thursday...Happy Thanksgiving, be safe, get ur grub on, and as Bob Barker would say "Have ur Thanksgiving Turkeys spayed or neutured." Peace yall....Nod, Nod, Nod.
How did do on my blog Mr. Wehrle?
